The primary school pupils in Bad Überkingen don't run out of breath easily. The sponsored run organised by the Überkingen primary school pupils was an event of superlatives.
On Friday 25 March, the pupils laced up their trainers for a good cause and decided to get involved with children and families who have fled from Ukraine. The children had already been highly motivated and eagerly sought out various sponsors in the run-up to the event.
The starting signal for the run was given at 8.30 a.m. and each child had 45 minutes to complete their laps by 12.00 noon. It was amazing to see the energy and stamina with which the children rose to the challenge.
The achievements exceeded all expectations, both in sporting and financial terms. simply sensational !!!
The entire donation will be handed over to the Agapedia Foundation for Children, Social Affairs and Education.
Mr Barth will be coming to our primary school on Tuesday 12 April to report on the situation of Ukrainian refugee children in the Moldavian border region.
