About the project

The SALVETE II project of the AGAPEDIA Foundation is concerned with promoting equal participation and successful integration of third-country nationals in Germany. At our locations in Esslingen am Neckar and Geislingen an der Steige, we are testing innovative approaches to integrate children aged 6 to 12 and their parents into society more quickly and effectively.

The project is a qualitative and quantitative expansion of our existing work in the open children's centres and is funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) for the period from 01.01.2026 to 31.12.2028.

Our goals

Our central aim is to sustainably strengthen the linguistic and social skills of children and their parents through targeted programmes. We rely on a holistic approach that consolidates the family structure in the integration process and promotes direct exchange with the host society.

Target group

The project is aimed at third-country nationals (people from non-EU states) who are permanently residing in Germany or seeking such a status, as well as their children. We place particular emphasis on everyday-oriented language support that can be immediately applied in daily interactions.

Scientific support

SALVETE II is being evaluated by an accompanying development research programme. The aim is to prove the effectiveness of our methods and set content standards for the future.üfor the futureüThe aim is to define future integration work.
