Civil Society Network EUSDR

agapedia-Netzwerkarbeit-Rollup

In line with its 23 years of work in the field, Agapedia is actively involved in the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR). This European Commission strategy aims to strengthen and harmonise the development of the socio-economically strongest and weakest countries in Europe - from Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria and Austria in the west to Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in the east.
The network's work, particularly in the social field, supports dual training for geriatric care and curative education in Bulgaria, for example, organises international youth encounters and represents the interests of NGOs. The civil society network operates under the motto: Solidarity, social inclusion and social change.

International Project Office Stuttgart

The international project office in Stuttgart acts as a central ideas workshop. This is where overall responsibility for the German and international Agapedia foundation networks lies. Stefan Barth and Marika Barth work closely with the local Agapedia teams to develop the various projects according to specific and local needs. This is where individual projects are conceived, financing plans drawn up and project teams organised, implementation strategies developed and sustainable implementation carefully planned. At the same time, the ongoing projects are continuously supported, monitored and adapted on site.
