Educational specialist for parental work / social pedagogue (m/f/d)

 

Location: Esslingen on the Neckar
Job scope:
40-80%
Duration of employment: Limited to three years
Employment: at the earliest possible date
Qualifications: B.A. in Social Work or comparable, experience in project work with adults, experience in the realisation of projects, experience in the field of social integration (with professional experience).

 

Your tasks include

  • Support with the implementation of the AMIF project at the respective location
  • Recruitment of participants 
  • Development and implementation of parental work; course development and management
  • Integration support: Supporting parents in language teaching and understanding the German education and administration system.
  • Individual case counselling if required
  • Organisation and coordination of practical offers
  • Networking: selection and deployment of freelancers for specialised course topics.
  • Organisation and support for actions

 

What you bring with you:

  • Completed studies or training in the field of social work, social pedagogy or comparable qualification
  • Experience in working with adults, especially in parent education or migration work
  • Enjoy creative, socially-orientated and practical pedagogy
  • Intercultural competence and sensitivity for different realities of life
  • Organisational skills and pleasure in the conceptual design of a new project
  • Ability to work in a team, initiative and the ability to reflect
  • Additional language skills are welcome, but not a requirement
  • Understanding of Christian values
