Educational specialist for parental work / social pedagogue (m/f/d)

Location: Esslingen on the Neckar
Job scope: 40-80%
Duration of employment: Limited to three years
Employment: at the earliest possible date
Qualifications: B.A. in Social Work or comparable, experience in project work with adults, experience in the realisation of projects, experience in the field of social integration (with professional experience).

Your tasks include

Support with the implementation of the AMIF project at the respective location
Recruitment of participants
Development and implementation of parental work; course development and management
Integration support: Supporting parents in language teaching and understanding the German education and administration system.
Individual case counselling if required
Organisation and coordination of practical offers
Networking: selection and deployment of freelancers for specialised course topics.

What you bring with you:

Completed studies or training in the field of social work, social pedagogy or comparable qualification
Experience in working with adults, especially in parent education or migration work
Enjoy creative, socially-orientated and practical pedagogy
Intercultural competence and sensitivity for different realities of life
Organisational skills and pleasure in the conceptual design of a new project
Ability to work in a team, initiative and the ability to reflect
Additional language skills are welcome, but not a requirement
Understanding of Christian values
