Did you know?

Since 1995, Agapedia has been caring for needy and distressed children under the motto "Passing on love ❤️". We want all children to have a healthy and happy future!

Help now and pass on your love to children in need! Thank you!

What we do

In Germany, we offer disadvantaged children between the ages of 6 and 12 special extracurricular care programs in the afternoons. With sports, games, creative workshops and children's circus, we encourage children to recognize their potential and develop social skills. Every child has a right to equal opportunities!

In Eastern Europe, Agapedia looks after abandoned children and orphans and provides them with family care. They receive support in school and education to help them build an independent life.
We also care for and support the elderly, sick and people in need of care.

Agapedia international

The Agapedia teams are active in five countries as independent foundations under national law: in Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova and Georgia. Agapedia focuses on the poorest transition countries in south-eastern Europe, which are struggling to build up social structures and implement European standards in social work following the collapse of the Iron Curtain.

Community makes you strong!

Every help counts

With €25, we can provide 25 orphans a day with a hot meal at our children's and youth center in Tbilisi.

With €100, we can support a social project in Bulgaria, Romania and the Republic of Moldova, e.g. financing school materials and basic foodstuffs for children from needy families, looking after abandoned children, supporting elderly and sick people in need of care

With €250, we can offer 50 - 100 children from our two German children's centers a day out, e.g. a visit to the swimming pool, an adventure trip, a children's circus and creative workshop or a special educational program.

Samira came to the Esslingen Children's Center every day as a child and especially loved the circus and unicycling. While things didn't always go well at school, the circus performances and her skills boosted her self-esteem! Last year, Samira, who now lives in Norway, came back to our children's center for a voluntary year and was able to pass on her experiences to our current children. Thank you for the great year with you Samira!
